Here's another Gem from my repertoire of old Colonial Recipe Books.  This is a suggested list of Curry Condiments and hot spice ( together with the prevailing prices)  that was in daily use in the olden days and as suggested by the Author (an unknown Resident) on Page 23 of this old Recipe Book published in the late 1800s. It probably served as a useful guide to Housewives in those early days.
